One of my favourite souvenirs from Barcelona is this very detailed brochure highlighting the various offences which constitute anti-social behaviour. To raise the stakes, the fines are listed. Whether this is intended as a challenge or a disincentive is up to the reader. Despite their efforts, I witnessed just about everything in this brochure in a six-day period.

To monetize the value of these sins, here’s a handy conversion rate 1 EUR=1.31 USD/CAD (approximately, as of February 3, 2012). Interestingly enough, the  500€ fine for using soap in the beach shower is one-third of the fine for using the street as a toilet.

Barcelona, never stop fascinating me.

I pity the fool who doesn't stop anti-social behaviour.
